Magazine advert research

Similarly to the CD covers the magazine advert is dominated by the image of the artist. The whole text is themed and colour coded to suit the artist, for example this particular text mainly focused on black and gold. This will contrast with the magazine cover I intend to create which will be bright and colourful themed either around the colour pink or blue.
The conventions of the advert include the image, the artists name, the albums name, the most popular song on the album and the record labels.
Again this text is very simple but effective, gives a overall professional image. Very sleek style which is strongly related to post modern media advertising as the artist and the image sell the product rather than the advertising which makes them the main focus of the text.
